AL East Projected Lineups (Because we all know the AL EAST is the shit)

Deals are still flying, but as of Dec. 4, 2012, here’s what the AL East shapes up like:

Yankees

The Yanks are looking to sign some key free agents to shore up their aging team.  A-Rod is out for several months and several of their starters have and may be lost to free agency.

  1. Brett Gardner – OF
  2. Derek Jeter – SS
  3. Robinson Cano – 2B
  4. Mark Teixeira – 1B
  5. A – Rod 3B (Injured)

The Red Sox have made a little bit of noise and seem to be connected to all kinds of rumours, but so far have only added Mike Napoli.

  1. Jacoby Ellsbury – OF
  2. Daniel Nava – OF
  3. Dustin Pedroia – 2B
  4. David Ortiz – OF
  5. Mike Napoli – C
  6. Will Middlebrooks – 3B
  7. Jarrod Saltalamacchia – C
  8. Jonny Gomes – OF
  9. Jose Iglesias – SS
  1. Jon Lester
  2. Clay Buchholz
  3. Felix Doubront
  4. John Lackey
  5. Franklin Morales

Blue Jays

The Jays have made some big moves so far and there may be more to come.  The Jays would like to acquire another SP and potentially move a catcher.  May I be the first and probably the last the coin the Reyes, Cabrera, Bautista, Encarnacion top 4 as “los 4 que cagar en bolas rápidas”

Orioles

Coming off an amazing year, the O’s are looking to upgrade.  They have been linked to rumours for power bats and relievers.  They seem confident in a starting rotation that surprised the baseball world last year.

Rays

Unfortunately for Tampa Bay it looks like they may be forced to trade some of their SP.  Expect one of James Shields, Jeremy Hellickson, and even possibly David Price to be moved this off-season.  They always find a way to contend, but it is becoming increasing difficult to keep up with payrolls in the AL East.

  1. Desmond Jennings – OF
  2. Sam Fuld – OF
  3. Ben Zobrist – OF
  4. Evan Longoria – 3B
